Thank you for this blog. My grandmother's maiden name was Minnie Dunegan, b. 1880 in MO. Her father was William Dunegan, married to Emaline Alcorn. William's father may have been Alfred. I would appreciate any links or information anyone may have.
1880 Census shows Emmaline and husband William S. Dunegan. The Census goes from 1880 to 1900. I don't see Minnie as William's child on 1880 Census. Alfred J. has a son named John W. I don't have anything to support that John W. is William. I don't know if this is same family or not. Julie
